Writing Career. In Progress.
The Power Point Presentation I’ve attached below is from a talk I did at “PB&J: Picture Books and All That Jazz” workshop last year at the Highlights Barn at Boyd’s Mill with Darcy Pattison and Leslie Helakoski. It’s basically drawn from the blood, sweat, and tears of five or so years of doing things the wrong way before finally getting smart and finding a great agent. I’ve written most of the info on this blog in a previous post, but I wanted to share the original Powerpoint, in case it might be useful.
This is by no means the only way to find an agent–there are lots of things I’m still learning about that process–but this is the post I wish I had read years ago. Feel free to share, but please link back to here and give credit! Hope this helps!
